jobs
I have an official job, actually Ive had it for a very long time, and I now have a job in pending, the irony is the job in pending is the most definate job I have. the other one is a probably though. I hate having people that want opposite things of me.
and my mom can be a bit rediculous she went from not caring that I said Diedre said someone got mugged at cinemark, to being like oh you didnt make it very clear, she's right you shouldn't work there, to well for an extra 50 cents an hour its not worth worrying about.
I have Robert trying to get me to be a manager, and Diedre trying to get me to work elsewhere, and maybe I should do the doc work, I mean Rigo's financial book thingy said I should get a large diversity of different types of jobs for job experience and I've already done both of these. Plus physical work would probably be good for me if it wasn't bad for my back. which I'm probably ruining slouching right now anyways.
My lifeguard job is the 2nd sub payed 6.75 an hour my cinemark job is 5.15 with an almost guaranteed raise, but it sounds like its gonna go up to 5.50, and Kevin's joke of getting your friends to the top so that way you don't get fired for having a friend higher up than you are, cuz there's some dumb rule like that, the problem is all the employees are friends and so when one gets promoted umm. . . there not just gonna be like ok I"m never gonna hang with you again till one of us gets fired. Anyhow the irony of his comment was that my head concession manager does have friends and it's rediculous cuz she was gonna kill me for not clocking in cuz when I came back Christmas they changed the system of how to clock in and I couldn't check in (on the computer, but still did on the handwritten one) till I had a paycheck to find my clock in number. yet she and her friends will all sit in the back and just talk on their cells instead of working, even though she's put up signs everywhere of no cell phones, and you'll get written up, and yadda yadda bull shit.
So yes Kevin your idea is already in place.
and Kevin and me are low level grunt employees, and Robert is now in pending for management, he seems super confident he has it, and until yesterday I thought they already told him he was a manager.
I have no idea how much time Im gonna have this summer, I thought one job would be enough but two, and then I have to get ahead so I dont fail organic chem, this summer could be outright painful.
I don't think I'm gonna get to visit many people if anyone this summer
well hopefully I can find time to hang with people here.
I'm really trying not to be so antisocial.
ok so quote of the post:
A woman had died in January, but her bank had billed her for their annual service charges for February and March on her credit card, and then added late fees and interest on the monthly charge. The balance had been $0.00 but was now around $60.00. A family member placed a call to the bank
Family Member: "I am calling to tell you that she died in January."
Bank: "The account was never closed and the late fees and charges still apply."
Family Member: "Maybe, you should turn it over to collections."
Bank: "Since it is two months past due, it already has been."
Family Member: So, what will they do when they find out she's dead?"
Bank: "Either report her account to the frauds division or report her to the credit bureau, maybe both!"
Family Member: "Do you think God will be mad at her?"
Bank: "Excuse me?"
Family Member: "Did you just get what I was telling you, the part about her being dead?"
Bank: "Sir, you'll have to speak to my supervisor."
Supervisor gets on the phone:
Family Member: "I'm calling to tell you, she died in January."
Bank: "The account was never closed and the late fees and charges still apply."
Family Member: "You mean you want to collect from her estate?"
Bank: (Stammer) "Are you her lawyer?"
Family Member: "No, I'm her great nephew." (Lawyer info given)
Bank: "Could you fax us a certificate of death?"
Family Member: "Sure." (fax number is given)
After they get the fax:
Bank: "Our system just isn't set-up for death. I don't know what more I can do to help."
Family Member: "Well, if you figure it out, great! If not, you could just keep billing her. I don't think she will care."
Bank: "Well, the late fees and charges do still apply."
Family Member: "Would you like her new billing address?"
Bank: "That might help."
Family Member: "Odessa Memorial Cemetery, Highway 129, Plot Number 69."
Bank: "Sir, that's a cemetery!"
Family Member: "What do you do with dead people on your planet?"
