monopoly because me and Jessi have a monopoly
yes we are the only suppliers of a commodity in the entire world
What's kind of awesome is this is commodity with importance in the scientific community
We are the only source world wide to get seperated apple snail eggs that have not had their flavor or chemical make up changed. Which is important if you plan to use them.
Unfortunately we still get payed minimum wage
Ok so I think everyone who's keeping up with has heard of my chickening out of the 10K run which is about 6.4 miles. My excuse was I didn't have $25 to waste after the ticket
Well there was Relay for Life I volunnteered for, and we left at 4 to make luminary bags, or somthing like that basically for every so much money people donated they could get back in honor of a survivor or in memory of. . . not a survivor of cancer. WELL THEy kept selling more and more and they had to be in alphabetical order< and we were short on room so were putting them close together< and YEAH it was starting to be a pain< AND My computer is freaking out and thinks I'M HOLDING DOWN SHIFT SO I CANt get the non shift buttons ha if just fixed itself. Ok so, after that APo had to keep some one going on the relay for life (basically someone walking on the track) from 7pm to 7am. So I went and ask what people didn't sign up for so the two head people wouldn't have to walk as long alone once everyone left.
But he was useless and gave me nothing so I went back cuz my ride did and talked to Diedre and once she went to bed I decided to go and got there 12:15. I stayed till 3:40 and walked 30 laps I think 4 of those were actually a very very slow jog. but basically each lap was a quarter mile. So I went further than the 10K in the middle of the night and it would have been awesome and amazing if the stadium lights wouldn't have been on it was a clear night the moon was out, and the stars should have been so visible, but the fricking stadium lighting hid all but one star. WE looked andlooked and really only found one star. cuz usually if you look harder you start finding a few more nope not this time.
Ok so now for semi formal diner in an hour, and I guess I shouldn't go in sweater, tennis shoes, and jeans, so I'm gonna dress up see it wouldn't be so bad but it's not like there's anyone there worth dressing up for, or any one super special I get to see for dressing up
huh seems like such a waste of effort
Oh well at least I'm a guy and my effort is almost nothing, compared to them that were like hey semi formals's awesome cuz it's the only other time you get to use your prom dress. The sad part is I'm only gonna make a really small sliver of the dance, cuz of work and when the dinner gets back. Unless I underestimated the group but we leave at 7 for REd Lobster, holy crud thats expensive, so I'm gonna see how cheap I can go there. anyhow then work at 10 so will see how long it all takes.
I;m figureing 9:30 we should get back, and should have 15 min buffer so maybe 9:45 in that time I have to pop my head in and sign in to say I went to semi formal and then get to lifeguarding hopefully change so
