Real Research
So does anyone know where I was today. . . yeah actually a lot of you do. Since my last post I have started working that science lab. Which means thursday I took a quiz and got qualified the quiz was done with the book that I had to read, that had the answers. Then Friday I got to start on my project, well mine and Jessie's on by the way that is:
Find a way to break apart the egg clutches into the singular eggs once they've hardened with out changing their taste (basically with no chemicals other than water), and by the way no one knows how to do this yet nor have they really tried good luck. (thats in my words)
So yesterday we got to start because the first snail clutch layed since I started working. We had to cut it into smaller sub clutches while it was still mushy, so that we had more to test with. Then wait for it to harden, which we were gonna do the testing tomorrow but yeah not enough time so who knows when goal is now monday
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Today: Ok I get there, no new snail clutch so we do the alternate thing she needs done counting, measure and classify the juvenile snails in four size categories use a preexisting categorization for thes sizes. We couldnt' find any but 7 hours later there were 533 snails. No one walked into the lab the whole time and we decided since we have to be in the lab everyday we would choose the weekends to feed snails and fish, we also fed the fish yesterday. Bloodworms when you've never seen or messed with them before are kind of. . . .umm. . . yeah. . . but I was like ok get cup dissolve in water (I haven't messed with blood worms) and then pour in tank. Well Sarah ((student) head person short of Dr. Burks, was like huh that is a good idea we always just took out a chunk and just dropped it in, (thats really really messy).
So anyways we fed both fish and snails today almost forgot to feed the juvenile snails actually had to feed each individual size seperately cuz we had already been classifying them. Yeah so thats what I've been doing all day and in less than an hour I go back and life guard so today is very much a work day.
ps I forgot quote of the day:
umm. . .
"o and lated all the girls have ben hitting on me and im not shore how to did with it yet expshaly if at the conention"
if you can figure out the author I applaud you.
