Last Day :-(
Todays the last day of the break :-(
Today was great
It started with Diedre taking me to this Petsmart to volunteer, it was fun
O and just a note I could never work at an adoption center I'll explain at the end
The dogs were awesome, I got there a bit tense, yea a bunch of strangers I'm supposed to help out with when I don't know what I'm really doing. Her mom was supposed to supposebly give me some talk, but ehh she didn't, honestly not sure if thats good or bad.
Ok so I wasn't entirely relaxed but I relaxed decently quickly compared to my normal the people were nice, in fact the only thing nicer there was the dogs, hehe.
I was so proud I remembered some names there was Doug, Ms. Joey, William??, Sara, and umm didn't get anyone else's names, that may be most everyone though.
When I got there the first thing they tried to do was name this Dalmation the first name suggested was Bob but one guy was like thats what you put in a suitcase, and then I forgot what he suggested and then the 1st guy said we could do the obvious spot. So when Diedre's mom came they explained it and so she was like ok will flip and if ya then it will be bob otherwise it will be the other name how Spot got lost I'm not sure. So right before she flipped she decided his name was Patrick, it was awesome. lol
Ok then we walked Patrick and Freckles, big dogs, but so much easier to deal with than Gizmo.
They were all awesome and I liked them all but Duke this small 4 month old dog, who was so hyper I thought he would be such a pain. So as I was later just looking at him all hyper, some one was like o you can take him out, I was like ok so I took him out and he started playing with me. By the end he was one of my favorites, I attach so easily to animals as well as people.
Ok so now why I could never really work as a an adoption center person I could probably get over it, but some one was wanting to adopt Duke and I was like o I don't want him to go, I mean I guess its good for them to get adopted the whole point of what I was helping with, but, but, ok yea I probably if I had enough money room and time, would adopt half of them and then looking at the other half would be ahh I'll take them all.
They were awesome it was so much fun.
Unfortunately I think I have like 2 faces laughing and bored, so I just about always seem bored even when I'm having a blast. Thats twice in two days people keep thinking I'm bored. But yea that was fun.
Then we went to her house watched a movie, stupid end, it wouldn't play, then I'm so undecisive when theres two options I can flip a mental coin but against like 50 gabillion movies, umm. . . yea that was about my decision, and Lizzy McGwire right now is freakin me out she has a crush on her Scottish teacher. Ok now theres 5 girls fighting over him all students aaahhhh. . . ok, back to my life
Well actually I guess that was the majority of my day. Then we fed some ducks and she drove me home, I kind of drifted into my own world, kind of half conciouse, yea I tend to do that in car rides expecially when nothings really catching my attention.
O and those dogs were smarter than my old dog Buddy he would always get caught on his leash till he got his legs so entangled, he would have to have us go and untangle him, those dogs managed to untangle any time even one leg got a little tangled, but Gizmo, now he's uber smart (sometimes, usually not) Brandon had some Beef Jerkey so he circled around him till Brandon couldn't move, so I think Brandon gave in a peice of jerkey. lol
So everyone if you've had Spring Break how was it?
if not what do you plan for Spring Break?
Smile of the Day: Playing with Duke
Thought of the Day: These dogs are awesome
Quote of the Day:
1st "Whenever a man does a thoroughly stupid thing, it is always from the noblest motives" Oscar Wilde once again an awesome quote but not for today, I mean I don't think I even did any thing stupid and I can't honestly say today I did much in noble cause it was more of a noble thing for well I won't say stupid motive, but yea, the motive probably doesn't count as noble.
Real quote: Ok sorry I won't always do this but after searching through my magic cards I found it:
"All animals -- even humans--can be herded. The trick is to make them think they choose their own destination." --Mangara
Ok so yea just the idea of walking the dogs reminded me of the quote I love it. Not always the friendliest but pretty true.
Good note: Heres some great advice find what you love to do, and make constuctive use of it. Vollunteering was so much fun I even thought about randomly some Sunday just showing up, but that might be weird. I'ld need to go ask and do stuff first.
