Grandparents

Yesterday was not quite as good as the previous day mostly because the day before was just awesome, but pretty much every aspect of it was kind of worse. Alright it was still a fun day, mostly because the day before was so often it half carried over, I got invinted to go bowling with Daniel Ginny, and Siobhan weird way to spell than I always thought it was Chevan. Ok now I decided to call this Grandparents because two nights ago, I got this letter my my Grandad who's dead, and then my living Grandpop gave me a card, that just made my jaw drop. When I called him yesterday well. . . I'll leave that for later ok

I for some reason called the grandparents on my mom's side Grandma, and Grandpa, while on my dads side Grandpop and Grandmom not sure why, but its true. OK so here goes
Grandpa
Well my grandpa was always the nicest guy to me and my brothers he usually was, but he had blood sugar teachers and was sometimes said to be a bit mean and controlling of my grandma, both are incredibly strong willed, and they eventually split up. I remember his small apartment and him taking us to some toy store, and making sure to get us somthing I still remember that small plastic broom type thing, I wasn't too happy then, I wanted action figures, and I always thought his house was boring I was to young at the time to catch on to anything short of getting toys at the time. After getting the letter I tried figuring out how long it had been since he died and at first my guess was 5 years, but looking back that would be the year before my Bar Mitzvah and he was already long dead so probably 7, 8 years back making me 9 or 10, but more realistically it was probably about 10, 11 years back making me 6,7 years old and so I don't have to much of a memory of him, since he lived in Jersey and we usually only visited him for a day or two when we went up. His funeral was supposebly the last time short of this year I saw real snow when it actually stayed on the ground my only read blizzard but I don't remember it.
Ok now for the letter he wrote to me and my parents its on some baige paper with a panda on the top right corner, written in blue cursive, any amounts over $40 I'll leave blanks for. Out of the panda bears mouth is a speech bubble saying Loosen up everyone and write underneath it in printed Black type is MR. IRA M. PENN
underneath that is the date in blue ink 4-19-89 and the letters goes as follows:
Enclosed herein is a check for ____ to be used to get Scott _____ -$35 in 0 Treasure Bonds to mature when he is about 17 years age. By then the bonds should be worth ______ or more to be used for college.
If for some unknown reason he doesn't wish to go to college to be held at interest until he is 25 and more mature.
The other $35 is to get my loving Frandson a gift that he can enjoy for his birthday.

then pencilled in circled and retraced 1000 times between that and his signature is Sandbox then below then circled below all that still in pencil is 2 milts in 1 and a shaded in heart beside it outside the circle.
Grandma
My grandma visits all the time and I spend tons of time thinking about her so this is all she will get because this is more a tribute to those I haven't thought about as much as I should have.
Grandpop
He sent me a card about my AD but he didn't know what it was called so it just congratulated me and had a check in it I was really blown away thought it was for graduation or somthing. It was a really nice card. So yesterday I called him back and it took about 6 tries before he could understand who I was. Then we started talking, probably the best as in most real conversation with him I'ld ever had, he owns a farm and usually its just farm stuff, I'm not really good with that and the mechanical stuff him and my brother get along with, but I kind of just. . .yea, but ok so he kept telling me how proud of me he was and asked about AD and the band trip and at the end of all this he asked. . .a question that nearly made me barrel over laughing, no one else will find this funny, but me, but he asked if I had a gf his responce to my answer wasn't very clear but it was weird kind of threw me off. He then talked about scholarships and said I would get a bunch, ok and sometime in their he reminded me that my Grandma was proud of me to watching down from above.
Grandmom
She's the only one of my grandparents who anyone can compromise with. Probably the only passive person related to me. So yea me being shy, will probably wear off its a genetic thing (is that possible). Ok so my grandmom is one of the sweetest people I know, and at her funeral I was kind of upset because I wasn't crying or anything, but as I think back on it maybe it was because I knew she was more fit for heaven than here. She was such a help to my Grandpop and while she's been gone his farm has seriously shrunken luckily he got someone else to help him out. She was the first person to die in my life when I was old enough to start understanding death I knew before that I wouldn't see them again, but it was different then. She's been in heaven about 3 years. I love my Grandmom, to peices, and so did my Grandpop. I don't think he'll remarry and the next person I'm going to mention is technically a grandparent.
Janet
Janet's the lady who has helped out my Grandpop I'm pretty confident they live together, and she helps out with the farm and in reality is probably the only reason he's not one of the majority of grandparents who after there spouse dies within 6 months follow. She acts like a grandmom to us and does everything to help out she's full of energy almost keeping up with my grandma one of the most lively, if not most lively person I know other people who compete Diedre, Michelle, and umm yea I think thats it.

OK so those are my grandparents I love them all, and with out them I would not be here today or atleast who I am now.
Thought of the day: So what to do/say (basically trying to figure out what I was gonna do for the day)
Smile of the Day: umm somthing in Hitch, maybe. . .oo no it was watching Siobhan go from dead last to two games later getting first, she got like 50 if even and then had the all time high of the 5 of us in like 5 games with 111. Thats with out getting anything in the 10th either. It was spectacular.
Good Note: Some people may be umm. . .horse's behinds, but the thing is to look past those people and find the people that are really worth being here. and if you can't find them than keep looking theres plenty around sometimes there just hidden in people that you would never
